The Gift: An Intergenerational Theatre Experience
In the spring of 2021 we finished our immersive storytelling project working with three different generations of women and girls from the ages 8 and up living in Brooklyn, NY. In the sessions we explored the wisdom and "gifts" passed down to us from our ancestors through the use of theatre and theatre activities. We ended the project with a culminating mixed media performance in Fort Greene Park Brooklyn, NY. The performance was inspired by the themes and stories from our sessions with the incredible women and girls we had the pleasure of working with. We are so grateful for their participation and their support in our final performance.
